A curious little myconid sprout

Stool is a myconid sprout, though at this point resembling a large walking mushroom more than anything else. You haven’t quite seen anything it before, and weren’t sure what to initially make of it.

Due to his small stature, stool accidentally tripped Ront one time and he ran and hid behind Wolfe. It was learned that Stool can establish telepathic communication via spores, which he used to beg for help.

Stool, seeing a good opportunity for planning, established telepathic communication between everyone in the cell using its rapport spores. It was disgusting, but people digged it. Stool offered sanctuary to anyone willing to return him to Neverlight Grove.

During a bout of madness, when Stool was telepathically crying, Wolfe punched Stool to sleep.

When the group escaped Ilvara through the collapsing umberhulk burrow, Stool was horribly wounded. When it came to, it decided that it had had enough abuse from the group and ceased releasing telepathic spores. Angered that he couldn’t understand anyone, Wolfe threatened to eat Stool. Frightened, Stool reconsidered its decision.

In the Oozing Temple, when the group had four hallways to choose from, Wolfe took advantage of Stool again and punched him. Stool struck back, but was only laughed at and humiliated as it was spun to determine which door to take with the bruise pointing in their desired direction.

When they had escaped the underwater temple Stool weighed it’s options. It didn’t know where t was but it knew it didn’t want to be with these people anymore. Decision made, Stool left the group, fading away into the mushroom cavern. It only hoped that Neverlight Grove was close, and that it was easily found.

The last the party saw of Stool was in Neverlight Grove, where they saw how he had changed. The sprout was still energetic, but now spoke of the “Great Seeder” and the joy she would bring. It freaked them out.
